Renovation & New Construction

We provide a comprehensive, full-service interior design experience to help transform your space. From design ideation to project management, procurement, and installation we are here to walk you through every stage of the renovation or new construction process. With extensive technical and creative expertise, we craft customized design concepts that align with your vision, lifestyle, and budget while working closely with trade professionals to make the vision come to life.

  • Phase 1: Pre-Project Stage

    Start by completing our project scope form and sharing relevant details. We’ll schedule a 30-minute discovery call to discuss your vision. From there, Becky Rose Design will provide a proposal with estimated service cost based on your project’s scope. To begin, a signed contract and retainer payment secure our working relationship. Once the retainer is used, services are billed monthly at an hourly rate.

    Phase 2: Design & Selections

    With a clear timeline in place, we begin the creative process. Becky Rose Design will present a thoughtfully curated design along with estimated pricing. Detailed design documents—including drawings and schedules—are shared with the project team. Architectural selections are prioritized first, followed by furnishings. Orders are placed upon deposit to ensure seamless procurement.

    Phase 3: Construction Oversight

    As construction unfolds, Becky Rose Design collaborates with you and the contractors to maintain design integrity. We provide ongoing communication, conduct site visits, and finalize any remaining selections to keep the process smooth and aligned with the vision.

    Phase 4: Installation & Completion

    The most exciting phase! Becky Rose Design manages deliveries, installations, and final styling to bring the space to life. You arrive to a beautifully designed home, ready to enjoy.

    We have worked with Becky on two large projects in the last three years. Those projects encompassed a renovation of a living room, three bedrooms, a master bathroom, two additional bathrooms, laundry room, attic and mudroom. She has also helped us freshen up some other rooms. Becky made the selections for all of these spaces which included: light fixtures, plumbing, flooring, tile, countertops, cabinetry, hardware, window treatments, rugs, furniture, artwork, and accessories.

    I enlisted her help with furnishing an entire brand new, two story, one-bedroom apartment. She did a wonderful job of incorporating my tastes and personality into furniture and decor picks. I absolutely fell in love with several of the pieces, from art to lamps to furniture. Without ever physically seeing the space, she did a fabulous job of placing furniture. Moreover, the first floor had a sprawling open floor plan, which I had no idea on how to furnish/decorate as an office and lounging area. She provided me with three different designs that used the space very well so I could be sure to keep my office space and relaxation area separate. Becky also stayed within budget! I can't recommend Becky enough!

She is also very well organized and has a keen eye for the details of a project - particularly when it comes to color schemes. She is also an excellent communicator and she responded quickly to even minor questions. Becky has a vast knowledge of different styles and exceptional color coordinating skill. She introduced us to some colors and designs we would have never thought of, but they all turned out to be amazing. She created spaces where colors flow beautifully inside and then transition from room to room. We would highly recommend Becky for any project - big or small.
